Tell Them
Let each generation tell its children of your mighty acts; let them proclaim your power. Psalm 145:4 NLT
Hopefully you and your family have had a great and relaxing weekend. It was so nice to start the school and settle into the new routine. It will also be nice to be able to start this week hitting the ground running. I try to post something each weekend giving you a look into the following week.
Last week, we walked through the different types of memory for sixth grade. The students did very well on their written memory last week. Please encourage your child to pace themselves in their oral memory. The written memory for next week will be The Morning Prayer. You can find the prayer in the catechism. I have updated the grades in Fast Direct and I encourage you to check this regularly. The students will also be bringing home graded work when it is handed back. Please ask to see this if you child is the type that won't show it to you on their own. This week on Tuesday we start Spanish. The students will have Spanish one time a week for 40 minutes. I will be sending home our first book order this week. They will be due on Friday, September 15th. You can place the order online following by clicking on this link https://orders.scholastic.com/HHC88. Please make your check out to Scholastic Book Club. Have a great remainder of your weekend and see you Tuesday!
