Tell Them
Let each generation tell its children of your mighty acts; let them proclaim your power. Psalm 145:4 NLT
Peace's annual Memorial Day Service is approaching on Tuesday, May 31st at 6:30pm. The sixth graders will be signing a song with their young 5's buddy. This is also an awesome night to be able to honor and remember all those who have served to defend our country and freedoms. I am planning on all the students attending this service and participating in our singing. Please confirm that by fill out the questionnaire below. Thank you and see you on the 31st.

A huge thank you to all of you for the kinds words, goodies, cards, gifts, and lunches that you shared with me this past week. Your generosity amazes me and I want you to know how thankful I am for each and every family and student in my classroom. I cannot believe we are already looking into our second week of May, this has been a busy year, but I have enjoyed being in the classroom with your child each day!
Tests for next week:
Wednesday: Memory - How can bodily eating and drinking do such great things? Friday: Social Studies chapter 12 The countdown is on. The students have 7 days to have at least 75 note cards. After talking a little this morning, the students and I agreed to have work time each day this week. This should help them get to the goal of at least 75 note cards. However, some students are still struggling with their sources having information. They need to make a trip back to the library to see if they can find better books or they will need to change their outline. I know that everyone has busy schedules, but it would be best to go to the library, sooner rather than later!
