Tell Them
Let each generation tell its children of your mighty acts; let them proclaim your power. Psalm 145:4 NLT
We had a great morning with our special guests on Friday. It was great to hear some of their stories and see them working with the students. We even saw some do jumping jacks! These are special days for the students and the special guests. Click on the picture to see some of the pictures I was able to capture yesterday. Believe it or not we are looking at the last three days of the first quarter of sixth grade. Seems like we just started, but here we are 25% done with the school year. With the end of the quarter comes some important things.

I am not sure about you and your family, but I finally feel like I have settled into the routine of the school year. I love this time of year when God shows his creativity through the beauty in the fall colors. I always am awed by the beauty of dying leaves. Going to MCYC at this time of year, allows us to spend a great amount of time in God's nature and take in all the sights and sounds! Just a reminder that tomorrow we will meet at 6pm for a short meeting about our MCYC trip. Please plan on joining us and bring all completed forms and money.
Friday is the Panther Prowl in the Park! Those who will be riding the bus to the park should arrive at school at the regular time. Those meeting us at the park, we will see you at the brown flag. If your child is riding the bus back to Peace, remember that dismissal is 1:30. Please hold this event in your prayers and pray for safety of all and for good weather! This week we have a few tests or quizzes: 1st and 2nd Commandment and Meaning - Wednesday Capitalization quiz - Wednesday Spelling test - THURSDAY (because of the Panther Prowl) Have a great Sunday and a awesome week in the Lord! |
