Tell Them
Let each generation tell its children of your mighty acts; let them proclaim your power. Psalm 145:4 NLT
Starting today, graded homework, tests, and quizzes will be coming home daily. As I grade it, the papers will be put in their mailbox and the students should be bringing it home in their folders each night. If you go a few nights without seeing any homework, please check in with your child.

Today, I took a first day picture of all the students. I have sent you a link on Fast Direct to access the pictures. I will post pictures throughout the year on this Photo Circle. The circle is private and only accessed by those who follow the link I gave out. Please feel free to update pictures from sixth grade events as you take them as well!
Tomorrow we start our new school year TOGETHER. We are a team this year, you, your child and me. Together we will work so that everyone can achieve their best. I am excited to get to know your child and family. Monday is a half day of school and dismissal time is noon. Remember there are no buses running this week. We will start our memory this week with our first written memory quiz on Wednesday. The quiz will be on the theme verse for the year, 1 John 4:7 from the NIV. Remember these quizzes will be fill in the blank. I have added a calendar to the website on the right side to have the important dates you may want to remember right there. Finally, I ask that you keep your child, their class, and myself in your prayers this year in the same way I will pray for your child. If you are at a lost for the exact words to pray before this school year, perhaps the prayer at the side may guide you. God's blessings on your day today! Don't forget that it is parent orientation night, next Tuesday, August 23rd at 6:30pm. Two weeks until the first day of school!
