Tell Them
Let each generation tell its children of your mighty acts; let them proclaim your power. Psalm 145:4 NLT
Thanksgiving has been here and left its mark in our homes and hopefully our hearts. Now we prepare to welcome our Savior into our hearts and homes. Today is the first day of the advent season, a season of preparation more important than any preparation of worldly things. I pray that we all can prepare our hearts this advent season as much as we prepare our homes. This week the 6th graders will visit the Santa Shoppe on Thursday. This is an optional activity, but if you would like your child to shop, please send them with money on Thursday. The students will not have to time to shop on Friday. Book orders are also due on Thursday. If you are ordering as a Christmas gift, please let me know that so I can set it aside when it comes in. We are starting to work on our Christmas program parts. The choirs will be singing, the sixth grade class will do a recitation, and the sixth graders will join in singing two other songs. Please make sure you check the flyer that came home regarding this event. We are asking that the students dress with black bottoms and red tops. There are two performances on the 13th. One at 2pm and one at 6:30pm. Tests this week - Wednesday - books of the New Testament Thursday - Punctuation test Friday - Social Studies chapter 4 test Word of the week - casual Have a great week!
