Tell Them
Let each generation tell its children of your mighty acts; let them proclaim your power. Psalm 145:4 NLT
The fourth candle in the Advent wreath and the fourth week of Advent remind us of peace. Could that come at a better time? How's your shopping? Baking? Wrapping? Cleaning? Preparing of your heart? Can you believe we are already here to the week before Christmas? I can't. I am thankful for the reminder of peace this week brings. Not the peace that anything in this world can give, but the peace that only can come from God. May your heart be reminded of the "peace which transcends all human understanding" this week as you prepare for Christmas and the Messiah. The sixth graders are finishing up some chapters and tests so that we can start fresh after the break. They will be having a language test on verbs tomorrow and a social studies test on chapter 5 on Tuesday. I believe they also have a science test on Tuesday. Finally, on Wednesday we will have the 3rd article of the creed and the meaning. Wednesday will also bring the Christmas pancake breakfast sponsored by PTL after our time in chapel. When the breakfast is done, around 10:30-10:45 we will head back to the room for the Christmas party. I have touched base with Mrs. Barcume our room mom and she would ask for the following things:
I hope that you and your family have a very special and blessed Christmas this year!
