Tell Them
Let each generation tell its children of your mighty acts; let them proclaim your power. Psalm 145:4 NLT
As we resume school on Monday there are a few things to remember this week. If we receive more snow this week, please send your child with the correct footwear and gear for the colder and snowier weather. Without boots, they will not be allowed to go in the snow. Without boots and snow pants, they well be limited in what they can do outside. Please also remember gloves, hats, and warm coats regardless of snow. We do not have a very long recess, but it definitely seems longer as it gets colder. We will be learning the books of the New Testament for memory on Wednesday. Again, spelling does not count. Also, we will have a social studies test on Wednesday covering chapter 4. This was a long chapter with a lot of information. For this reason, I will allow the students to use their notes for 10 minutes on the test. I would encourage students to keep working on learning those oral memory verses. Very few students have said any of the 10 verses for this quarter. Getting a few verses in the next few weeks, would be a great way to help them stay on schedule for finishing on time. In case you missed this on the news on Wednesday, Channel Four came out to cover the Kids Against Hunger event at Peace.
